What are cookies?

Cookies are small files which are stored on a user’s computer and hold an amount of data. Cookies are often used to improve the user experience of the website. There are two types of cookies:

• One saves a file on the user’s computer. The file is used to adjust the website to the user’s interests.
• One temporarily stores data about the user. When the user closes the current browser window, the cookie is destroyed. No personal details are saved.
